We have a stick insect in our classroom. It was on the cranberry bush.
The children said
The stick insect is....
still as a statue
watching for danger
eating leaves
on a cranberry leaf
a herbivore
sitting very still
green or they can be brown
camouflaged
a native insect
staring
and it has 6 legs.
