8 kiwis have recently been released at the Orokonui Ecosanctuary. We found a photo in the ODT. Some of room 11 children have been to visit the ecosanctuary. They said the ecosanctuary has a big fence to keep animals out who would want to eat the kiwis and that kiwis are endangered.
The children had fun making these kiwi masks.

Your kiwi masks are beautiful Room 11. Yesterday Rachel gave me a fright with her mask on I didn't know who she was!
ReplyDeleteRoom 11 I just love your kiwi masks! I went out to Orokonui Ecosanctuary last weekend. I didn't see any kiwis but I heard lots of beautiful bird songs. What a special place.
